I am Tanya Guillory.  I have lived in Mobile since 1997. I am a returning student who already has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. 

I want to be an educator for a few reasons.  I love children and I love teaching.  Showing children how to learn and grow has always been a goal of mine.  I also love History.  History, if taught creatively, can give children a strong sense of placement in who they are in this world. 

I want to use in my practice as an educator a sense of teaching that is outside the box.  I want to show my students using all educational tools available, that history happened to real people and events had real impact on everyone throughout time.

My passions are my family, my church, history and my new passion is yoga.  All of these passions bring joy to my life.
