Class Assignment:
The class is learning about the very first Presidential election for the United States. The students will get into small groups and come up with their very own campaign slogans for their candidate General George Washington. At the end of the week each group will present a power point presentation with a set time limit. The students are challenged to use technology and creativity for this assignment. On the last day each group will then participate in a mock swearing in of the first President of the United States: President George Washington. Followed by a class discussion of review and reflection.
